Happy Camper 2026 Guest Thank You Before October 20
Some seasons fill the calendar, and some seasons fill the heart. Our 2026 season at Happy Camper did both.
As the year winds down, we keep coming back to one simple message: thank you. Thank you to everyone who chose Sandy’s Up-North Sanctuaries for a little escape, a quiet reset, a family adventure, or a few days where the only real decision was whether to soak in the hot tub now or later.
Happy Camper is already booked from October 20 through the end of our 2026 season, and that feels like a beautiful way to close out the year. If you’ve been hoping for one more getaway before we wrap things up, there are still openings before October 20. We would love to welcome a few more guests before the season fades into memory.

This season gave us so much to be grateful for
When we started SUNS, the hope was simple. We wanted to create a place where people could slow down, breathe easier, and enjoy a stay that felt thoughtful without feeling fussy.
Happy Camper became exactly that for so many guests this year.
Some came to unwind after long workweeks. Some came for time together as a couple. Some brought children who found joy in the smallest details, including the bugs outside, which may not have been on the official amenities list but apparently still made an impression. Some guests came ready to explore. Others were perfectly content to settle in and let the day unfold without a schedule.
That is one of our favorite parts of hosting. Every stay has its own rhythm.
For one guest, the highlight might be a clean, cozy space after a day of exploring. For another, it might be sinking into the hot tub under the evening sky. For someone else, it might be morning coffee, a comfortable chair, and the rare luxury of not rushing anywhere.
We do not take any of that lightly. When someone chooses to spend their time away with us, they are trusting us with something special. Vacation days are limited. Family time matters. Rest matters. A birthday weekend, anniversary trip, or “we just needed to get away” stay deserves care.
So from the bottom of our hearts, thank you for trusting Happy Camper with those moments.
Your words made our season
Guest reviews are not just nice to read. They are the little notes that keep us going after the laundry piles up, the checklists get long, and something needs to be fixed at the exact wrong time.
Running a small, family-owned business takes more than a calendar and a set of keys. It involves cleaning, planning, resetting, shopping, answering questions, watching the weather, fixing little surprises, and occasionally asking, “Where did we put that thing?”
Then a guest leaves a kind note, and suddenly the tired parts feel very worth it.
Julie Turner wrote:
“The Happy Camper lived up to its name 10/10! Such a blessing!”
That made us smile because it captures exactly what we hope Happy Camper feels like. Not complicated. Not overdone. Just comfortable, welcoming, and worthy of the name.
Cassidy summed up a feeling we love hearing:
“We didn’t want to leave.”
We understand, Cassidy. Checking out is considerably less fun than checking into vacation mode.
Stacey and George Park shared:
“Beautiful spot, wonderful hospitality, awesome service, great food, and so comfortable. We can’t wait to come back!”
That kind of review means the world to us. Comfort matters. Hospitality matters. The bigger experience matters too. We want guests to feel cared for from the moment they arrive until the moment they pull away.
Nick B. gave the hot tub and cleanliness a shout-out:
“The hot tub was great and everything was clean.”
Short, sweet, and exactly the kind of thing we love to hear. Cleanliness is one of those details that should never feel like a gamble. A getaway should feel fresh, easy, and ready for you.
The Schafsnitz family wrote:
“This gem of a place is amazing!”
Their review also mentioned a little one enjoying the bugs outside and a hot tub so popular that nobody wanted to leave. Apparently, Happy Camper gets good marks from both the relaxation committee and the junior bug inspection department.

The best reviews tell a bigger story
The happiest reviews usually point to more than one feature. Yes, guests mention the hot tub. Yes, they notice when everything is clean. Yes, comfort comes up often.
But behind those details is something bigger: guests felt able to settle in.
That is the feeling we hope to create at Happy Camper. A place that says, “You can relax here.” A place where the little things have already been thought through. A place where guests do not feel like they are walking into a project, a puzzle, or a list of problems.
A good stay comes from practical details, including:
A clean space that feels ready
Comfortable spots to sit, sleep, and unwind
Clear communication before and during the stay
Thoughtful touches that make arrival easier
Outdoor space that invites guests to linger
A setting that feels removed from the everyday
Those details may not all be dramatic, but they make a real difference. Nobody wants to spend vacation time wondering where things are, what to do next, or whether the space was prepared with care.
This Happy Camper 2026 Guest Thank You Before October 20 post is our way of pausing long enough to say that we noticed your kindness too. Every review, message, and return visit became part of the story of the season.
Happy Camper became a place for all kinds of getaways
One of the joys of the year was seeing how many different kinds of guests found a reason to stay.
Some visits were peaceful and quiet. Others were full of laughter, splashing, snack runs, and kids discovering the outdoors in their own hilarious way. Some guests packed adventures into each day. Others decided the camper, the hot tub, and a slow morning were more than enough.
We love both versions.
Happy Camper is not one-size-fits-all because rest does not look the same for everyone. For some, rest means exploring all day and coming back to a comfortable place at night. For others, rest means doing very little and not feeling guilty about it.
A few favorite guest rhythms from this season included:
The slow morning stay
Coffee first. No hurry. Maybe breakfast, maybe a second cup. Sit outside. Listen to the quiet. Let the day decide what comes next.
The family memory stay
Kids notice everything, including things adults walk past. The bugs. The trees. The water. The cozy corners. The chance to stay somewhere that feels different from home.
The reset weekend
Arrive tired. Unpack only what you need. Soak in the hot tub. Sleep well. Wake up lighter.
The “we’ll be back” stay
This one always makes us extra grateful. When guests leave already thinking about returning, we know Happy Camper did what we hoped it would do.

Thank you for caring for our place
A thank-you post would not be complete without saying this: thank you for treating Happy Camper with care.
Small stays like ours depend on good guests. When people respect the space, follow the simple house guidelines, communicate kindly, and leave things in good shape, it helps us keep welcoming more visitors.
It also means a lot on a personal level. Happy Camper is not a giant resort unit that feels far removed from the people who run it. It is part of a small family-owned business, which means we notice the details. We notice when guests are thoughtful. We notice when someone takes the time to send a message. We notice when someone leaves a review that helps future guests feel confident booking.
That kind of care creates a good cycle. Guests feel welcomed. We feel encouraged. The next stay gets the same attention. The place keeps its warmth.
That is the heart of Sandy’s Up-North Sanctuaries. We want our guests to feel like they chose a place with real people behind it.
There is still time for one last 2026 getaway before October 20
With Happy Camper already booked from October 20 through the end of our 2026 season, the final stretch is here.
If you’ve been thinking about squeezing in one more stay before the season closes, now is the time to look at openings before October 20. Those last available dates can be a sweet spot. The pace feels a little slower. The air starts to change. Evenings invite cozy layers, warm drinks, and longer soaks in the hot tub.
A late-season getaway can be just right if you need:
A quiet reset before the holidays
A couple of nights away without overplanning
A simple family memory before the year gets busy
A comfortable place to celebrate something small
A chance to do nothing and enjoy it
Sometimes the best trips are not the ones planned months in advance. Sometimes they are the ones you finally say yes to because you realize you need a pause.
Happy Camper has already held so many sweet memories this year. We would be honored to make room for a few more before October 20.
What we hope guests carry home
At the end of the day, we know guests do not come to Happy Camper just for four walls and a place to sleep. They come for a feeling.
They come for a breath of fresh air. A change of scenery. A chance to reconnect. A place where the day can move a little slower. A cozy home base that makes the trip easier.
If guests leave saying, “That was exactly what we needed,” then we have done our job.
If kids leave with a funny story about bugs, snacks, or not wanting to get out of the hot tub, even better.
If someone drives away already planning a return trip, we will take that as one of the highest compliments.
Your reviews reminded us that hospitality does not have to be fancy to matter. It just has to be sincere, clean, comfortable, and cared for.

Full hearts as the 2026 season winds down
To every guest who stayed at Happy Camper in 2026, thank you.
Thank you for choosing us. Thank you for your kind words. Thank you for the laughter, the return visits, the thoughtful messages, and the reviews that made us stop and smile. Thank you for making our cozy camper part of your story.
To Julie Turner, Cassidy, Stacey and George Park, Nick B., the Schafsnitz family, and every guest who shared encouragement this season, please know that your words mattered. They did not disappear into a review box. They landed with real people who care deeply about making each stay a good one.
Happy Camper is booked from October 20 through the end of our 2026 season, but there are still openings before October 20 for anyone hoping to enjoy one last getaway.
We are grateful, encouraged, and already smiling at the memories this season gave us.
Here’s to full hearts, happy guests, and a few more cozy stays before the season says goodnight.
