National Trout Festival & Skerbeck Family Carnival in Kalkaska: April 22nd - 26th



Don't miss out—today marks the start of the National Trout Festival (NFT) in Kalkaska, Michigan! This beloved event is packed with attractions that cater to all ages and interests. The festival kicks off April 22nd at 6pm with the 89th opening ceremony followed by the Taste of Trout at 7pm! On Friday night, April 24th, there is a Trout Friday Night Concert followed by a Kids' Fishing Contest starting Saturday morning. Saturday afternoon at 2pm starts the Grand Royale Parade followed by the NTF Bump-n-Run at 5pm!

  • Ultra Team: 4 runners

  • Spirit Team: 3 runners

Pricing varies, with costs ranging from $231 per person for the Ultra Team to $133 per person for the Spirit Team. The race kicks off on the morning of June 19th and runs through the night, wrapping up on June 20th. This unique format combines the excitement of day and night running, with teammates passing the baton in a relay style.
