New Balcony Build: Your Private Outdoor Escape
One of the most exciting upgrades underway is our new balcony, designed to give you an even better way to enjoy the peaceful beauty of Northern Michigan.
Imagine starting your morning with coffee in hand, breathing in crisp northern air… or winding down at sunset after a day of exploring nearby lakes, trails, and towns.
This new space will offer:
A comfortable outdoor seating area
A peaceful place to relax, read, or reconnect

We’re building it to feel like a seamless extension of the Happy Camper experience—simple, cozy, and incredibly relaxing.
Hot Tub Coming Mid-May: The Ultimate Up North Relaxation
Big news: the hot tub arrives mid-May
Adding a hot tub has been one of our most requested upgrades—and for good reason. There’s nothing like soaking in warm water under the stars after a full day of:
Hiking Northern Michigan trails
Fishing or kayaking the Rifle River area
Exploring nearby towns like Mio, Fairview, and West Branch
Enjoying summer festivals and local events
Our goal is to create a private retreat experience—where you can relax, recharge, and enjoy the quiet that makes Northern Michigan so special.
As soon as it’s delivered, we’ll move quickly through setup so it’s ready for guests as soon as possible.
Next Phase: Custom Deck Around the Hot Tub
We’re not stopping at just the hot tub—we’re planning a dedicated deck space to elevate the entire experience.
This upgrade will include:
A clean, stable surface for easy access
