We're Taking a Little Northern Michigan Adventure! 🌲🛶

Sometimes even campground hosts need a little camping trip of their own!

This week, we packed up and headed to one of our absolute favorite places in Northern Michigan—Onaway State Park—for a two-night lakeside camping getaway. And wow...it reminded us exactly why we fell in love with the outdoors in the first place.

Our campsite overlooked the lake, and every morning began with a fresh cup of coffee while listening to the sounds of nature waking up. It truly felt like heaven on earth.

We spent our days doing all the things we love most:

🛶 Exploring the shoreline by kayak🎣 Trying our luck fishing on the peaceful lake🦆 Watching ducks glide across the water🦢 Listening to the haunting calls of loons echo across the lake🦅 And being treated to an unforgettable flyover from a magnificent bald eagle!

Of course, there were also plenty of quiet moments spent simply relaxing and soaking in the incredible scenery. Sometimes the best vacation plans are no plans at all.

As much as we love sharing Northern Michigan with all of you through our weekly blogs, this week we're choosing to unplug, recharge, and enjoy every minute of our own little adventure.
